| Individuals move through the following phases as their condition warrants:
A. PRIMARY PHASE:
30 days of Intensive Inpatient Treatment
Through participation in group therapy sessions, individual counseling and recreation,
the participant is moved from denial of his or her condition to a realistic awareness of
the disease process with its myriad of interactions with the participant's daily life.
Relationships are assessed and strengthened through Family Group. Participants begin to
take responsibility for recovery by working the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and
learning about their disease. In the last week of Primary treatment, participants identify
issues to be addressed in Aftercare. The program is for individuals who can remain
abstinent throughout the treatment process and who are without significant medical
problems. Primary participant must attend all program activities, including morning &
evening A.A. meetings, recreational therapy, morning and afternoon group therapy and
education sessions, family group counseling, one-on-one counseling and special events
planned for the facility. Primary residents may not leave Oasis Treatment Center without
staff supervision.

The Structured Phase of treatment affords the client an opportunity to work in the
